Located in the glorious South West Wales Hills & Countryside, Kalipso Stud started in 2010 and is a family-run, hobby Stud that focuses on breeding & producing quality ponies for all disciplines including:

All my ponies have been carefully chosen for their super friendly temperaments, correct conformation, excellent breeding & beautiful colours.

I have always said to anyone that owns one of the ponies I have bred, that he/she is welcome home anytime should circumstances change in their current homes and they can’t be cared for.

​

It's not for me to judge, life is completely unpredictable for us all but as a responsible hobby breeder, I stand by all my Kalipso ponies and offer them & their owners the security that I am here to help and keep them safe should it be required.

​

The majority of my colts will be gelded in an attempt to secure a better future in finding suitable homes. Exceptions can be made where there is Stallion potential, but these will be at my discretion.

​

I only breed a handful of foals every year, so I am able to give each one the very best start in life that he/she deserves and that they leave for new adventures fully handled, independent and healthy.

As of today, I am happy to say that all my homebreds are in fabulous homes and their owners stay in regular contact. However, in 10 year's time this may not be the case but my commitment to those ponies will be.
